35th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials.

September 7 - 11, 2026 // Antwerp, Belgium

Welcome

We are excited to announce that the 35th Annual Conference of the European Society of Biomaterials will take place from September 7 to 11, 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium.

ESB meetings consistently attract a diverse and multidisciplinary group of
participants, uniting researchers from various fields, including chemistry, physics, biology, biomaterials science, tissue engineering, and medicine, all in one unique setting.

With over 1000 participants expected from accross Europe, along with many distinguished guests from around the world, the ESB meeting stands as a premier scientific event, reaching the entire European Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine scientific community.

One of the key missions of ESB meetings is to promote interactions between basic researchers, applied scientists, clinicians, and industry to drive the development of innovative solutions for clinical applications. We keenly understand that these new solutions to repair or produce tissues or organs will come from the combination of fundamental knowledge, multidisciplinary development efforts, as well as advances in production/analytic/imaging/communication tools.

The meeting venue is the Flanders Meeting and Convention Center (FMCCA) – “Room with a zoo”. This spacious meeting space is located in the city center of Antwerp. Featuring a state-of-the-art modern infrastructure, the venue is located next to the country’s oldest animal park, which is also one of the oldest in the world.

We warmly invite you to join us at the ESB 2026 meeting!
